A Few Steps Behind
This afternoon, I watched my son walk home from school, alone or so he thought. I stayed a few steps behind, letting him cross roads, make choices and find his way. When he finally saw me near home, the relief on his face said it all. That moment reminded me how God often works: quietly present, letting us walk, learn and stumble, yet never truly leaving us alone. Sometimes, his silence isn’t absence, it’s trust.
